We will spend the night in the desert of Merzouga and explore the oases and the Kasbahs. We will visit Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou after that. Then we will end our tour at Marrakech.
After we meet up, we will start our 8-day tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga desert. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to your accommodation. You can spend the day relaxing and preparing for the next adventure.
This is the day of our 8 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga desert. It will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual capital of Morocco Fes. After breakfast, we will start our guided tour in the Medina of Fes, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will begin by visiting the landmarks of Fes Elbali, such as the Al Qaraouine University, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountain, and so on. Then, we will have a traditional lunch in the Medina before exploring Fes, like the Jewish Quarter (The Mellah). We will go back to the Riad.
After breakfast, we will go on our tour from Fes to Marrakech to Chefchaouen to have a guided tour. We will drive by the fantastic landscapes of the Riff Mountains to reach the Blue City. We will visit the Medina, the markets, and some quiet streets to take memorable photos between the blue walls. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, we will see the Market in case you want to buy some of the handicrafts that the city is famous for before we go to a hotel.
We’ll start our 8 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga desert. Our journey will take us through Morocco diverse landscapes. We’ll visit Ifran and the cedar forest near Azrou, meet the Barbary monkeys, and stop at Apples Midelt for lunch. Then, we’ll drive through the high road of Tizi n’Taghamt and the fantastic landscapes of Ziz Valley. We’ll pass by the town of Fossils Erfoud before arriving at Merzouga. After tea, we’ll ride camels towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy the sunset. We’ll head to the desert camp for drum music, dinner, and stargazing.
We plan to wake up early to catch the magnificent sunrise in the Merzouga desert. We will visit the Tinghir Oasis and Toudra Gorges before heading towards Erfoud. Next, we will explore the breathtaking Dades Valley, drive through Kelaat Mgouna and the Valley of Roses, visit the Skoura Oasis, and finally check-in for an overnight stay at the Ouarzazate hotel – often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
Today, After visiting the Kasbah of Taourirt, we will explore the studios of Ouarzazate. We will head to Ait Ben Haddou, which is a huge and ancient Kasbah that is considered a UNESCO world heritage site and also a famous filming site that can be seen in many favorite movies such as Gladiator, the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus of Nazareth and so on. In the afternoon, we will drive through the fantastic high mountain landscapes of Tizi n’Tichka Road and the many Berber villages that live a very simplistic lifestyle before we arrive at Marrakech. In the Red city, we will stay at a hotel.
We’ll explore Marrakech with a guided tour to visit its main landmarks, including Bahia Palace, Saadien Tombs, Ben Youssef Koranic school, Medina, and Souks. After lunch at Jamaa Lafna Square, we can visit Koutoubia Mosque and Majorelle Gardens. You can explore the city on your own afterward. We’ll be staying at a traditional Riad.
