Itinerary overview :

We’ll explore Casablanca, Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez-Meknes, and the desert. Along the way, we’ll see historical landmarks, including the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and spend a night at the Erg Chebbi dunes. The tour ends in Marrakech, where we visit the famous filming spots of Ouarzazate.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO MOROCCO

Our 10-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert starts with a meal after we meet you. Depending on your arrival time, we might explore some of the landmarks of Casablanca, like Hassan II Mosque, the Medina, and Bab El Had, along with the beach area if time permits. Otherwise, we will do that the next day and proceed to the hotel.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN BLUE CITY

Today, We will visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque and travel to Rabat to see the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Kasbah of Oudaya, and Mohamed V Mausoleum. Then, we’ll head towards the Blue City Chefchaouen for a 10-day tour, driving through the Riff Mountains and Ouazzan City, with an overnight stay at a traditional Riad.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FEZ

After breakfast, we’ll explore Chefchaouen on a guided tour, visiting the Medina, markets, and streets for memorable photos. Then, we’ll head to Meknes to see the Medina’s landmarks, including Bab Mansour and Lahdim Square. We’ll drive to the holy city of Moulay Driss and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before stopping for an overnight stay at a Riad in Fez.

DAY 4: FEZ SIGHTSEEING

This day of the 10-day tour from Casablanca will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual capital of Morocco Fez. After breakfast, we will start our guided tour in Medina by visiting landmarks like Al Qaraouine University, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountain, and so on. Then, we will have a traditional lunch at the Medina before we explore more of Fez. We will go back to the Riad.

DAY 5: FES – IFRANE – CEDAR FORESTDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERG CHEBBI DESERT

After breakfast, we’ll leave Fez and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll visit Ifrane and Azrou to see the monkeys in their cedar forest. Then, we’ll cross Midelt and the pass of Tizi N’Teghamt towards the Ziz Valley to admire the fantastic landscapes of the oases. After arriving at Merzouga, we’ll take the camels and head towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi with a local guide. We’ll spend the night at a nomad camp and enjoy the music and starry sky.

DAY 6: EXPLORING MERZOUGA ERG CHEBBI DESERT

Today, we will explore the desert and oases and the ancient irrigation system the locals use in their agricultural activities. We will join some nomad families for a glass of tea and head to Khamlia, a town famous for its Gnawa spiritual music and cultural heritage. We will eat lunch at a nice traditional restaurant that serves Berber Pizza before we head back to the village of Merzouga to spend the night there in a Raid.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TODGRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

We will wake up early to admire the incredible sunrise. After that, we will leave Merzouga. We will drive towards Tinghir, passing by Rissani and the town of fossils Erfoud. We will stop at Toudra Gorges to enjoy the amazing, fantastic narrow canyons and beautiful water stream landscapes. After that, we will head to Dades Valley; we will spend the night at a nice hotel there.

DAY 8: DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – MARRAKECH

We will leave Dades and head towards Kelaat Mgouna, Ouarzazate, and Marrakech. Along the way, we will visit the oasis of Skoura and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, which are popular filming spots. We’ll drive through the challenging road of Tizi n’Tichka and spend the night at a traditional Riad in Marrakech.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING

We will start the day with breakfast at the Riad. Then, we will embark on a guided tour through the famous landmarks of Marrakech. Our itinerary includes visiting the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Koranic School of Ben Youssef. We will also stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant before heading to The Majorelle Gardens, Menara, and Koutoubia Mosque. Finally, we will return to the Riad after a full day of sightseeing.
