Day Trip From Dakhla To The Sebkha of Imlili
Day trip from Dakhla to the Sebkha of Imlili.
The sebkha of Imlili is one of Dakhla’s classics. This small sebkha (a depression with a salted bottom) is characterized by permanent pools of saltwater with fish that exist only here. Pools are small but unique and beautifully colored. The sebkha is surrounded by bushes and plants, close to three wells, and a regular venue for wild animals and herders. We will arrive at Imlili around noon and have the opportunity to enjoy Saharawi tea before or after exploring the area. In the afternoon, and depending on timing and on your wishes, we may spend some time on some of the nicest beaches on the coast. A final stop at “La Source Asna” for a hot sulfur shower in the open is also possible. We’ll pick you up at your hotel at 9:30 am and bring you back at around 5:30 pm.
