After an early breakfast, we will start our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora desert, passing through the fantastic landscapes of Tizi n’Tichkabetween these two spots and the desert of Zagora. Then, they will spend the night in the desert before returning to Marrakech the next day, ending our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora desert.
After an early breakfast, we will start our 2 days tour from Marrakech to Zagora desert, passing through the fantastic landscapes of Tizi n’Tichka and many Berber villages where people live a very simple lifestyle. We will stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. It is also a famous filming location where many famous Hollywood movies have been shot. After lunch, we will go to Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Then, after a visit to the Agdez oasis, we will pass by Daraa, which has the largest palm plantation in Morocco. Upon arrival in Zagora, we will have a camel ride and trek to our desert camp, where we will watch the fascinating sunset from the top of a high dune. Dinner will be served while we listen to the trance-inducing drums beating under the starry sky.
On the second day, you will be up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara desert and explore the surroundings while you catch the morning sun. After breakfast in camp, you will have the choice of returning by camel or 4×4. Returning to Zagora, the guide will stop to explore the breathtaking landscape of the Dra Valley, and we’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah before continuing over the Tichka Pass. Arriving in Marrakech is between 5 pm and 7 pm, weather permitting.
